At the Peppermill Resort, we deliver a high-tech experience along with exemplary results. Over the last year, we've invested over $7 million in technology and innovation to bring our guests a state-of-the-art experience.

About 14 years ago, we came up with the concept of capturing short video images that could be displayed across our properties like moving photos. These “windows of the world” had to be filmed utilizing the best cameras, and displayed using the highest-quality technology. Vibrant coral reefs in the South Pacific, black stone and verdant moss in Iceland, the neon of Hong Kong reflecting off the water—all created with the intent to entertain and inspire. Now, after traveling around the world several times over, we have amassed one of the best collections of video art anywhere.

Windows of the World Moments

  • Trekking to Everest base camp after spending the night in an ancient Tibetan monastery was incredible and challenging. The air was thin, but our spirits were high as we explored the top of the world and brought back images of the greatest mountain on earth.
  • We decided to return to Yosemite National Park last spring with our ultra-slow-motion camera rig. The waterfalls were thundering and the mighty Merced river was near its all-time highest flow when, with the help of ropes and a dose of courage, we positioned our cameras in precarious spots to capture some of the most breathtaking footage in our collection.
  • From capturing close-ups of lions in the plains of Kenya, to finding the endangered mountain gorillas of the Rwandan jungle, witnessing the wild animals of Africa may top the list of our filming adventures.

Every shot has a story. All of these experiences, and hundreds more, can be seen 24 hours a day across our Peppermill property.
