Since 1969, the Reno Philharmonic has been part of the rhythm of Northern Nevada. What began as a bold vision to bring a symphony to the region has grown into one of the area’s most beloved cultural institutions. More than five decades later, the Reno Phil continues to inspire, educate, and connect a community that believes deeply in the power of music.

Each season, the orchestra reaches tens of thousands of audience members and students through performances and education programs that extend far beyond the stage. Now in its 57th season, the Reno Phil remains rooted in its mission to unite people through music while continuing to evolve with fresh programming and dynamic collaborations.

As the resident orchestra of the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, the Reno Phil presents a full calendar of concerts led by Music Director Laura Jackson. From timeless masterworks to contemporary compositions, each performance is shaped by a commitment to artistic excellence and meaningful connection. International guest artists join the stage, bringing new perspectives while honoring the rich traditions of symphonic music.
