Artown Reno 2026
There is a moment each summer when Reno shifts. Evenings stretch a little longer. Music carries through the air. The city moves at a different pace.
For 31 years, Artown has defined that moment, transforming Northern Nevada into a month-long celebration of culture, creativity, and connection. In July, more than 600 events unfold across the region. Parks, restaurants, performance halls, and open-air venues become part of a citywide experience that invites exploration rather than routine.
What makes Artown remarkable is its accessibility. The majority of the events are free and community-produced, created by local artists, organizations, and partners who help shape the festival. A world-class performance can exist alongside a neighborhood event, and both feel equally meaningful.
The month begins and ends at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park, where Opening and Closing Nights bring the community together under the summer sky. In between, the city reveals itself through distinct venues, each offering its own atmosphere.
At Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch Regional Park, the headliner series brings nationally and internationally recognized artists into a setting that feels both expansive and intimate. Across town, the University of Nevada, Reno Quad, Midtown’s Brasserie Saint James, and the Renown Regional Medical Center host series that reflect the festival’s depth and local character.
Global sounds take center stage on Wednesdays through Cultural Connections at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. Family-friendly experiences like Circus Bella at Reno Public Market and weekday mornings at Discover the Arts create space for shared moments, while Friday evenings invite a slower pace with Movies in the Park.
And still, these are only glimpses of what’s happening throughout the month. On any given day, visitors can explore the schedule, select a date, and find multiple events happening across the city. Plan your day or follow your curiosity and let it unfold.
New this year, the Artown Passport invites guests to explore venues, collect stamps, and support keeping events free and accessible.
Whether you arrive in July or plan your next visit around it, there will always be something waiting for you here. Find all events at Artown.org.
