A Sales Coordinator reports directly to assigned Regional Sales Directors or Managers to assist with all associated tasks required to efficiently and effectively book group convention business. This position is a dynamic administrative position which requires strong skills in time management, administrative expertise, clerical skills, and general willingness to complete and array of tasks and interact with staff and clients on a regular basis.

Two to three years office experience required of which one year public relations experience or previous hotel experience preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office required which includes accurate typing speed of 65 WPM.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent spelling ability.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.
Willing to take new tasks and to work as a team.
Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
Must be able to work with various personalities.
Must be able to deal with change and multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure and in stressful situations.
