The Banquet Captain provides training and direction for all Banquet Service Staff while ensuring that Banquet Service Standards, Policy and Procedures are enforced throughout the entire department before, during and after every event.

2-3-year experience in Banquet operations and management.
Must be versatile in all aspect of Banquet operations, knowledgeable of food and wine, fine dining etiquette and capable of teaching their trade and its organization. Must be able to work independently in a fast-pasted environment.
Experienced in administration duties, scheduling, micros report data, etc.
Understanding of Micros.
Must be able to read, write and speak English. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
Excellent interpersonal customer service, communication, team building and problem-solving skills are required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks at once with minimal direction.
Ability to compile, compute and analyze pertinent data needed for reports.
Ability to work with the AS 400 and other computer-based systems, as well as the Micros system.
