Assistant Executive Steward

The Assistant Executive Steward is responsible for managing and directing the kitchen stewards as well as maintaining of all big four par stocks in direct relations with the outlet managers. Facilitates the restaurants by providing personnel for ware washing as well as cleaning the kitchen areas. Serves as a liaison with the outlet/banquet personnel and the stewarding unit. Key roles to include: Leader, Trainer, Teacher, Administrator, Team Player, Mentor and Communicator.

Desire to work with people.
Three or more years in a high-volume Hotel/Casino or Restaurant in Stewarding Department, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
High School Diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent.
Possess ability to teach, train and motivate team members.
Working knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel (preferred).
Background of pre and post openings of Hotels/Casinos (preferred).
Supervisory background must have an emphasis on teambuilding, interpersonal and managerial skills.
Working knowledge of all dish machines and related ware washing equipment.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
