HR Assistant Director
Reno’s premier Resort, Spa and Casino property, the Peppermill, is seeking a highly motivated Human Resources professional to be a vital member of the team.
As the HR Assistant Director you will report to the Director of HR, and will work closely with Managers and Directors of the property to identify ways to support company business objectives while creating a positive and productive environment for our employees.
The Assistant Director will oversee employee relations, leadership development and training, FMLA compliance and recruitment along with coordinating fun employee centered events and recognition programs and be a source of education and support to other HR staff and company leaders.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience in a HR Manager or HRBP role.
Casino or large company experience will be extremely valuable.
Training or public speaking experience.
Thorough understanding of labor laws and regulations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Card.
