Bilingual HR Summer Intern
The Bilingual HR Intern will have a unique opportunity to learn what it is like to support one of the largest private employers in Northern Nevada with exposure to areas such as Recruitment, New Hire Onboarding, Training, Employee Relations and much more.
Responsibilities and Projects:
·Recruitment- Insure job descriptions are updated and current. Develop Talent Pools and reach out to qualified candidates.
·New Hire Onboarding- I-9 audits, new hire processing with high exposure to state and federal hiring practices and requirements.
·Training – Participate in effective new hire training classes, employee programs and events as business needs may demand.
·Employee Relations – Participate in conflict resolution discussions, investigations and employee development.
Intern must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Must be available to work Monday – Friday 8am-5pm.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with current and potential employees while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Creative, courageous, willing to learn and to be flexible.
Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Card.
