This February, fall in love with Reno and all of the events the Biggest Little City has to offer! Whether you’re head over heels, or have sworn off love, this month is filled with activities that will melt your heart!
Whose Live Anyway? - Just like the hilarious, long-running TV show, Whose Live Anyway is based entirely on audience participation. Bring your best suggestions and watch as cast members, Greg Proops, Dave Foley, Jeff B. Davis, and Joel Murray, create quick-witted scenes and skits on the fly. This 90-minute performance features famous improv games from the TV show and will leave the audience gasping on February 2!
Big Game Blitz - Peppermill’s Big Game Blitz party is the best place to watch the big game on large-scale screens! No tailgate is fit without an all-you-can-eat buffet, complimentary beer, and photo opportunities. Devil made me do it Saloon Crawl - Join hopeless romantics and beer lovers in Virginia City for the Devil made me do it Saloon Crawl on February 9. Classix Series: Timeless Masters -Timeless Masters boasts works from some of the greatest composers of all time, including Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. This energetic series features audience favorite and Van Cliburn-winning pianist, Jon Nakamatsu, who will perform Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1. Enjoy the most recognizable classics presented by the Reno Philharmonic on February 9-10.

Reno Run 4 Love - The 3rd Annual Reno Run 4 Love is causing hearts to race all across Nevada! Bring a friend, or a loved one, and run for Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada and Outward Bound on February 10. After this four-mile race, enjoy champagne, chocolates, music, and more, in the Reno Ballroom.
Something Rotten -The Musical - Show business is tough, even for the Bottom brothers, Nick and Nigel. Struggling to find fame in the 1500s, the Bottom brothers learn that their success lies in singing, dancing, and acting simultaneously. With this realization comes the production of the very first musical. The Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts hosts this 10-times Tony nominated musical on February 15-17, 2019.
Dierks Bentley - Dierks Bentley brings his award-winning music to the Reno Events Center on February 16. We hear the set list features everything from Bentley’s newest album, The Mountain, to fan favorite, “Drunk on a Plane.”
Reno Chamber Orchestra with Michael Morgan - Michael Morgan, longtime Music Director of the Oakland Symphony, joins cellist, Matthew Linaman, to perform the works of Schumann and Strauss at the Nightingale Concert Hall. Enjoy the artist’s musical expertise as they play “Cello Concerto” and “Le bourgeois gentilhomme” on February 16-17.
Animal Ark Wild Winter Weekend -The colder weather may not suit you, but it’s the perfect temperature for our furry friends. View bobcats, wolves, lynx, cougars, foxes, and more, on February 16-17.
Alpenglow Mountain Festival - Discover some of the best activities Lake Tahoe has to offer at the Alpenglow Mountain Festival. Activities are set at beginner to intermediate levels, so new winter recreation enthusiasts are welcome to try their hand at backcountry skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and more! This nine-day celebration, happening February 16-24, presents over 75 individual events and is almost entirely free.
TEDx University of Nevada - This exciting speaker series features talks from an Olympic gold medalist halfpipe skier, a seasoned TED speaker with Fortune 500 management experience, the CEO of Renown Health, and more! With four performers, eight local speakers, and 10 speakers from around the world, this is the biggest event yet. Experience a day of reflection, exploring new concepts, and engaging with the community around you on February 23.
Tim McGraw – Country music legend, Tim McGraw, takes the Reno Events Center stage on February 24. McGraw has an unparalleled career, selling more than 50 million records and holding 43 worldwide #1 singles. This one-night-only concert is bound to make you like it, love it, and want some more of it!
SnowFest! - This 10-day festival has been snowballing since 1982. A polar bear swim, hot wing eating contest, fireworks, parades, concerts, and theater performances are just a few of the activities to name. Make the most of the snow by participating in the Naughty Dawg Pull, Whacky Human Bowling, and Snow Sculpting. Join in on the festivities starting February 28, through March 10.
