Peppermill's Wedding Specialists have the experience and knowledge necessary to provide a beautiful, flawless event.
Director of Weddings
Margie began her career with the Peppermill in 2003, working in the Sales/Group Services department. She coordinated events for companies as well as private parties. However, her heart has always been drawn toward wedding planning. Her passion and motivation have been a driving force in the evolution of weddings at the Peppermill and the new venues and packages offered for brides, their families and guests. Margie became a Certified Wedding Consultant in 2005, as well as an active board member with Weddings of the West, where she currently holds the position of Vice President. She is also a certified Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist, as well as a member of the Association for Wedding Professionals International and the National Association of Catering Executives.
Margie has also written feature articles for such publications as Sacramento Bride and Las Vegas Bride Magazine, providing brides with insight as well as helpful hints when planning a wedding. Margie is fortunate to be able to attend Special Event and Wedding trade shows and conferences to keep herself and her team current with the “latest and greatest” trends, color schemes and cutting edge ideas. She is the master at encouraging her brides to think outside the box, when planning their special day.
With the continued support of ownership, management and the success of the department, Margie's goal is to exceed the expectations of brides and grooms with a memorable, unique experience like no other. She'll provide personalized service, enthusiasm and sometimes humor to make their dreams come true!

Wedding Coordinator
Melissa began her career as a wedding coordinator quite by accident. Twenty minutes after the first time helping a friend coordinate a wedding at her church in Las Vegas the friend handed over the keys and said, "Great! The job is yours!" So over the next 12 years, Melissa worked hard, developing a successful wedding program from scratch, helping many couples enjoy the weddings of their dreams. She has a passion for the wedding industry, and is constantly looking for ways to grow and learn as much as possible. Her favorite part of coordinating weddings is the unique role of being the "calm in the midst of the chaos." Weddings involve so many components, and Melissa looks forward to helping brides and grooms relax and experience all the wonderful aspects of their special day, making sure all the details are all taken care of.
