CLASSIC ROCK SENSATION "BOSTON" COMES TO THE PEPPERMILL RESORT CASINO

Boston, the 1970s and 80s rock band, is performing at the Peppermill Resort Casino on Friday, July 4 at 8:30 p.m. in the Tuscany Events Center.

Boston is best known for rock hits including “More Than a Feeling,” “Peace of Mind,” “Foreplay/Long Time,” and “Don’t Look Back.” The band has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. Boston was founded by guitarist Tom Scholz in 1976. Boston will be bringing two new recruits on tour this year. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Sweet will sing and trade riffs with Scholz on guitar. Tommy DeCarlo, the fan who posted his Boston covers on his myspace.com page, will also be singing the band’s classic hits on stage. The remaining band members include guitarist Gary Pihl, bassist Kimberly Dahme, and Jeff Neal plays the drums.

The Peppermill’s new Tuscany Events Center is 62,000 square feet and is the largest free-span convention center in northern Nevada. The Peppermill has gone to great lengths to ensure the events center offers comfortable, tiered theater-style seating with great views of the stage.
